Youth Oasis- LSU Public Relations Campaigns Course (MC 4005)

For Alannie's senior capstone course at LSU, she participated in semester-long PR campaign for Youth Oasis. Alannie served as the director of the agency, overseeing the entire campaign and agency members. The goal of the campaign was to increase brand awareness for Youth Oasis throughout the Baton Rouge community. The campaign included social media strategies, community engagement events, media relations and more. To read more about the success of the campaign, view the booklet below.

Giving Tuesday- Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank

As the communications intern for the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, Alannie assisted in planning and executing a social media campaign for Giving Tuesday 2019. Her responsibilities included research, writing blog posts, graphic design and creating social media posts. The campaign's goal was to raise donations for the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank.

With the assistance of Alannie, the campaign raised $5,500 in donations for the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank. Only $500 was raised during the campaign in the previous year. Alannie assisted to create a goal to raise $1,500, a 200% increase. Alannie created the campaign booklet below.
